Primary schools across the SLWP can book a visit from one of our recycling experts during the school year. The educational Recycling Rockstars assembly is targeted towards KS2 students and covers all things recycling and waste, including:
- The three Rs - Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle
- What can and can't be recycled in your area
- The recycling and waste journey - where it's taken and what it's turned into
- Littering and fly-tipping - taking pride in our local neighbourhoods
The team can also provide an optional after school information point to share details from the visit with parents and carers at pick-up time.
